(This workshop recap reviews tips from Mr. Cameron Yunker on how to resolve conflict.)
A conflict is an argument or disagreement between 2 or more people.
A resolution is when the argument or disagreement is resolved or fixed.
The Three Rules to Resolution:
- FIRST: LISTEN
- SECOND: THINK (yes, before you speak!)
- THIRD: TALK
When trying to resolve conflicts, always remember to CARE:
Communicate
Actively Listen

Another way to handle conflict well is when words are thrown at you, don’t return them! Just remember to deflect anger, always remain calm inside and perform appropriately on the outside, stay professional and respectful, and remember that people say things they don’t really mean when they are angry.
