What would I tell my teenage self? Dream bigger. Shoot higher. Shine brighter. Embrace being different, unique, and special. Own the beauty in you. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the belief that something else is more important than that fear.
Chase your dreams!! The only true failure is never trying at all. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Try and try again, and if that doesn’t work, find a path around the mountain in your way or climb it. It does not have to move for you, and your outcome is not dependent on it. Find your own dream and successes, despite that mountain standing in your way. Look for every opportunity to excel at what you dream of doing. If you dream it, chase it!!
There is always room for hope. Each and every one of us has a purpose in life, built of hopes and dreams. Dare to dream bigger, higher, and to shine brighter than you ever imagined possible. If you want it, make it happen. Believe in yourself, and doors and windows of opportunity will open for you. If you never try, you will never know.
Always follow your heart in the things you do. Be passionate about life. There are no guarantees or promises that you will get exactly what you want, but what if your purpose is greater than what you want or realize? Just because you don’t get something you want doesn’t mean that you should quit or get discouraged. We learn and grow from what people consider failures. Lessons are learned and growth occurs from both good and bad experiences. Perhaps the most valuable lessons come from the struggles we have, the failures we experience, or the pain we endure. Fear not to fail, be fierce and face failure fearlessly, and rise above it.
